All In. Perhaps you’ve heard the saying that 99% is more challenging than 100%? It’s true.
It’s easier to be all in that even 1% less committed to whatever you are up to in the world.
William Hutchison Murray said, “until one is committed, there is hesitancy.”
“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets: Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!”
Maybe you’ve heard this quote, but my question to you is this. Is it more than just a “quote”? Have you taken it to heart? Are you emanating this from your spirit on out and up?
Psalm 139 says, “What we are is God’s gift to us.” Who we become (I paraphrase) is our gift to God. But to reach our God-inspired dreams, we need to be ALL IN, grounding into and harnessing spirit, our energy, our life force…in how we live and what we are up to in the world.
“All-In” ness works for you, not against you. It bridges the gap between your health and success. It fully supports you and what you are up to in the world. And it is the foundation of living a Performance Lifestyle.
I was asked years ago why there wasn’t a distinct module on spirituality in Performance Lifestyle® Academy, and my answer, long before I knew the full significance of the statement, was— “It’s all spiritual.”
But it’s one thing to be spiritual— grounded in covenant with God, aligned with the Holy Spirit, your true nature, the unlimited power within, the divine, or the life force, or the creative principle; whatever you choose to call THAT primary intelligent energy of the universe that gives you life.
It’s another to make sure you optimize the way you live to ensure that your body/brain has the energy, health, and performance capacities to fulfill your God-Inspired dreams in the world.
That takes more than eating healthier every once and a while, getting an extra hour of sleep here and there and thinking positive when things are going well. It takes a commitment to what’s primary in your life and a whole lifestyle that helps you fulfill that potential.
Live All IN for a period, and soon enough it becomes an identity, kind of like approaching life the way elite athletes do “in the zone and the flow”; with a lifestyle, this is aligned with their performance; only now, it’s not just in a sport, you are all in, in your life.
That’s what it means to be ALL IN. It’s your genuine commitment to unlocking and unleashing your full potential, so you do what you came here to do. It’s why in the Performance Lifestyle® Academy, we are all the more passionate because we share and are bonded by that universal spirit that’s driving us. That which we make primary in our lives; and, we are putting to work the practices guided by fundamentals of successful living, in our lives.
It’s all part of the master practice— your lifestyle, that will do more than help you; it will enable you to be unstoppable in 2021 and beyond.
