The Proactive Nature of Your Lifestyle

As a Performance Lifestyle Coach, I serve proactive, success-oriented people. Predominantly entrepreneurs, creators, and influencers in many walks of life. People, mainly middle-aged 35-55, have kids (some grown, some young) who are up to big things in their careers, businesses, creative pursuits, and maybe even a sport.

I’m all about helping you develop the mindset and skillset for mastery over how you live your life. It’s my mission, our mission, as a company to help you live a better life sharing what I have learned as an in-the-game entrepreneur who’s burned out and at times traded his health for success because I hadn’t yet done the following.

That is, make the needed changes and improvements and ultimately optimize how I was living.

That’s what I can now help you do, and take full ownership over the alignment between the three unseen levels of development that usually distract and hold most people back rather than help them flourish; if they are not optimized. 

I’m talking about the alignment of:

1. Your life structure— how things are set up in your life,
2. Your Lifestyle—the behaviors that give you the energy, health, and performance capacity you need to succeed.
3. Your Goals—What you are up to in your family career, business, creative pursuits, and maybe even a sport.

In that process, one of the most critical aspects of lifestyle is being “proactive” which is vital to your proficiency and otherwise known as the “do this, experience that” relationship.

In other words, why do we go to sleep each night? Because we wake up with energy, that’s why!
When you proactively do sleep, you experience more energy, which enables you to do what you want to do in your wakeful hours. 

Let’s look at a definition of what it means to be proactive.

Pro·ac·tive – (of a person, policy, or action) creating or controlling a situation by causing something to happen rather than responding to it after it has happened

That is, make the needed changes and improvements and ultimately optimize how I was living.

That’s what I can now help you do, and take full ownership over the alignment between the three unseen levels of development that usually distract and hold most people back rather than help them flourish; if they are not optimized. 

Lifestyle, by its very nature, is proactive. Even when you decide to get more sleep or take a nap, it’s proactive towards the desired outcome; but it’s not the outcome itself. <<– (very important) as the outcome definition of performance crushes most people’s success and sustainability.

When you do the next most important thing you need to do, to experience what you need to experience (more energy, more clarity, etc.) and establish the “do this, experience that” relationship; you now have the most important mechanism needed to change, improve and optimize the way you live.

You are doing it right now in every aspect of how you live; now you can be proactive about it around those actions that really deliver.

Before the outcome of your performance, you have to make sure you have a proactive lifestyle that enables you to function at total capacity. And on that basis, you have to be proactive about not only being “active,” you have to be proactive about what enables you to be active.

Why do you practice any aspect of your lifestyle–simplify your life, think differently, eat healthy, exercise, go to sleep, gain greater clarity, play your game better, etc. It’s so you can function and perform well, which usually results in accomplishing and achieving what you are up in the world, without burning out or trading your health for your desired success.

And that’s what I Performance Lifestyle Coach does.
