The Workaholic Lifestyle
The workaholic may achieve their goals, and then some.
They go the extra mile in whatever they do, no matter how important or trivial the goal. They are often deemed successful by their peers and enjoy high social status, but underneath, High Achievers are overwhelmed and chronically exhausted, just like the over committed underachievers, and other lifestyle type, but the difference here, is that they have enough resources and support to sustain and perform better.
The problem they have is they are ambivalent to their health. Because they are so successful they end up trading their health for success.
It’s almost cliche to say that wealth without health is poor, but it is the truth. It’s not enough to call it a sound-good cliche; if you are making it big time, and you’re unhealthy, you’ve got a big problem!
