Dear Friend,

Have you ever wondered why some people just seem to have it all going for them?

They look, feel and are performing better than the rest and are admired for how they achieve their goals. They’re the ones who look like they never age, seem to be incredibly successful in whatever they do, they may have a great family life, and have the energy to enjoy it all.

These people are unique. 

These are the world's healthy high-achieving people, we admire. They live athletically.

What is shocking is that only "3%" of the population lives in this healthy balanced, high performing way.

That means if you were to put 100 people in a room tomorrow, only 3 of them would be incredibly healthy and successful.

Chances are you would be one of the 97 others, experiencing overwhelm, fatigue and overweight, despite your financial success.

I know I was part of that group until recently in my life.

I used to ask myself… "How in the heck do these people do it?"

For years, as an entrepreneur, my ambitions were always outpacing my ability to take care of myself, as I would constantly wear myself out.

Trying to get my own act in gear, I would drive myself harder and hit the wall repeatedly.

Notwithstanding an early career as a trainer, gym owner, and public speaker on “healthy lifestyle,” at 30, I was fat, fatigued and burnt out, and needed to change course.

I used to think all I had to do was “eat right and exercise” to live that hard charging life. But as the pace of life picked up, and I was spending energy all over the map; living overwhelmed led to fatigue and overweight nonetheless. 

What do you think I felt when I looked in the mirror at the end of the day?

Awful, and out of control, that’s what.  

I had what you, or someone you know, might have right now. It’s called “Performance Addiction.” Let’s just say for now, it’s pervasive; and many people are suffering from it as they “to do” themselves to death, over commit and trade health for success. .  

In this age of “Achievement," we’re all faced with relentless demands as business owners, professionals, and parents... 

For example, my sister is a physical therapist, with three kids, all of whom play soccer... You may think only the kids have to perform well; just ask my sister “the soccer mom” what her week feels like. 

On the weekends, she sometimes runs to “six” or more soccer games. On top of her job, she runs the household and has social events almost all the time. 

Because she loves creating special moments, she does everything to the 9’s for her family, her friends, and the people she volunteers for, including the dog. And that’s just the major stuff… 

She’s not unlike millions of other people, all with different circumstances. 

My brother in law is a VP at a major bank; he’s on the train at 6:15AM gets home at 7:00 PM, and then has the same weekend schedule. Just ask him about his need to perform “well,” because work and soccer is only the tip of the iceberg of what goes on in his life.

The way they do it all, all year long, is they live athletically. Both of them have athletic experience and most aspects of their life and lifestyle are coordinated around the goals they want to achieve individually and as a family.  

Of course, it’s still easy to get caught up in today’s day and age, and live, on what is called “the downward trend.”  

It happened to me… 

Relentless demand overwhelms us, it exhausts us, and it ultimately makes us fat, tired, and sick. Millions of people are in this downward spiral right now, worn down and wondering how to turn it around.  

They have so much going on they’re barely hangin’ on. Add to this all the nutrient poor food and pseudo “energy boosting” products on the market, and it’s no wonder obesity statistics continue to climb.  

You can’t “eat less of foods that don’t serve you and exercise more a fatigued body and expect to solve your problem.” 

But here’s the good news. 

There’s actually a way to avoid this downward trending lifestyle that can make life hard and utterly graceless with symptoms like overweight, that lead to health complications and distract you from you goals. .  

When I first discovered it, I thought to myself…  

“Why isn’t the rest of the population, the other 97%, living this way, including me (at that time)?

It’s called Performance Lifestyle; it was born of elite athletes who know the many aspects of their life and lifestyle impact each other and that each one needs to be carefully planned and managed if all their goals and aspirations are to be achieved. 

When I started living a Performance Lifestyle, I was able to get my energy, my body, my life, and even my business back into tip-top shape… quickly.

It doesn’t matter if you’re into sports, or a fitness enthusiast… As I’ve learned more about Performance Lifestyle, living athletically has more to do with how you set up and live your life not whether you play sports or love to workout.  

Why don’t most of us live athletically?  

Because we think it’s for performance athletes alone, meanwhile most of us are trying to be high performers 48-52 weeks a year as business owners, professionals and parents...  

Athletes are just the most visible because they unleash the full potential of their lifestyle to achieve their goals.  

You can do the same, in your lifestyle, to achieve your goals!  

I’ve learned how to do this, and there are more than a few tricks, I’ve learned along the way that I want to teach you.

And if you master them, you can transform yourself into the healthy high achieving person you want to be, in literally weeks. The results you want will follow.

Let me ask you a few questions…

If you are experiencing overwhelm, exhaustion and the overweight condition, probably not

Have you ever wondered WHY, even though you're currently on a fitness program and eating "healthy" foods, maybe even getting that “extra hour” of sleep, you're still ...overweight

Have you ever sat down and really thought about all the things you're doing for your health, that are supposed to make you more productive, have more energy, and enjoy every second life has to offer? Then end up asking yourself, "If I'm doing all of this, why in the hell am I so run down, tired, frustrated, and all-out exhausted beyond belief at the end of the day?

Life is intense today and chances are you’re slowly crumbling under the pressure…

Chances are you've worked hard to be as successful as you are today. Maybe you've achieved more than you thought you ever would, in both your business life and in your personal life – maybe many times over.  

And chances are, you've been worn down, even during some of your strongest hours... only to have to pick yourself up over, and over again to keep going.

You've always made a strong comeback every time, because you're a winner... even if you haven’t achieved some of the goals you think about…

Blood, Sweat, and Tears is your Driving Mantra...even if you don't think in those terms.

You live and die by this very phrase. You press on and you're proud of it, as you should be...

But here's the bad news... 

Even though you make a strong comeback, each time you're worn down, you become increasingly fatigued with each successive round. Tiredness becomes distress, and distress transforms into burnout, and you fall into the never ending cycle of picking yourself up and “boosting” your energy to give it another go - time after time again."

You may think this is what you need to do, to be successful, almost as if was a “badge of honor”. You don't and it's not ...and most people descend into this "downward trend" because of one or more of the following reasons:

1. They were confused about what actually gives you energy and what takes it way. There is so much information promising the sun, the moon, and the stars when it comes to increasing energy - and most of it is just plain delusional – keeping you more “caught up” and fatigued, forcing the never-ending downward cycle to repeat itself all because you never learned, what actually creates more energy and how to sustain it by living athletically.

2. They believed the marketing (spin)The fact is we are living in an out-of-control, "Gotta Have It Yesterday" world, marketing this frenzy for all it’s worth, promising energy, weight loss and success results that simply can’t be achieved "sanely" or "soundly," as promised.

The big guys in the self-help industries play on the desperate emotions created by confusion with their commercials, their ads, and their propaganda promising results literally overnight -- when the raw truth is that most of what they promise is impossible to achieve within the time frame, they claim. Even if it was possible, trying to accomplish too much too fast and creates even more distress.

3. They were frustrated with the lack of results. When you focus on symptoms and don’t solve the real problem, you end up exactly or not far from, where you started, frustrated, confused and a little more desperate….searching for the next miracle, the next book, the next program that promises to give you what you want in ever more clever disguises . You want to feel good, to look better, and achieve complete and utter success - and again it just doesn’t pay off.

It's not surprising that people fail to get the results they're expecting. Trying to figure it all out, they are caught up in operation “Money Suck," and end up throwing in the towel, living befuddled until the next magic bullet arrives, which again, never seems to solve the real problem. Each time a little more jaded, we become almost unwilling to put our faith in another attempt, and go through the motions.

If you think I’m describing the “unmotivated,” you’re in for a surprise. In many cases, it’s the high achievers who are the most overwhelmed, exhausted and overweight… paying dearly for success with their health.
