A Message for Friends

Written by John Allen Mollenhauer "JAM" on March 20, 2008 – 12:39 pm

One of the many reasons why I am launching www.MyTrainer.com, besides the fact that I have been envisioning something like this since I was 19 (that’s 20 years), is that I’ve wanted to have a more social, conversational relationship with my subscribers and clients whom I would rather call friends!

The new internet, becoming known as Web 2.0, is now making that possible.

It has been my commitment in 2008 to use email very sparingly, as I can’t stand getting email everyday with a sales pitch, shrouded in albeit usually helpful information, from the myriad of lists that I’m on. It makes me a little crazy.

I venture to say you might feel the same, It’s why last year, after my last Performance Lifestyle training, I virtually stopped sending email (at a cost) and focused on upgrading the way I do business to the social media way.

I would rather us network as friends as part of a community than have to constantly send email. I was only sending email because it was the best way I could reach out, but times are changing.

Starting next week or the following, I will have my profile at www.MyTrainer.com so we can connect on a more regular and natural basis with the help of video and social media technology.

In the meantime, you can reach me now on Facebook. http://profile.to/johnallen/

Ironically, as I make this transition fully, I will be sending more email than usual in the coming couple weeks. So heads up.  At least you know why.

There are many other reasons for MyTrainer.com, not the least of which is that I want to enable anyone, anywhere to have a trainer in their life - A fitness, health or wellness professional who can inspire, educucate and support their success, regardless of time, money or insecurity.

I have had always had trainers and coaches in my life of various types and at various times and it has been invaluable. You don’t know what you don’t know and no body succeeds without at least little help from their friends.

Plus, today knowing how to achieve your goals with your fitness, health and well being in tact, is the competitive edge healthy successful people understand. Besides better quality of life, everything you do, depends on your ability to perform well.

At MyTrainer.com, you’ll be able to connect with those who you can learn from, in a real, personally empowered way and support them in return.

By the way, If you haven’t gotten your beta invite yet, join the community at www.MyTrainer.com. Go ahead and do so, there is no cost.

Also, this coming week, I’m doing an interview with Patricia Keating of Intentions Coaching. She works with those people I connect with best, entrepreneurs and other achiever types faced
with relentless demand on their time and energy who aim to achieve their goals in life, business, even sport with their fitness, health and wellbeing in tact.

So if you want to learn more about the secrets of Healthy High Achievers, those people who look, feel and perform better than the rest, join in on the upcoming TelEvent with Patricia and I on March 26th, 3:00 PM Eastern.

Again, there is no cost and you will be invited at the end to join me at MyTrainer.com, that’s it.

If you can’t make the time, register anyway and Patricia will send you a recording of the call!

I have much coming your way in 2008, and in a non intrusive way. Living a lifestyle that works for you and me, the achievement of our goals and the world around us, is something that I uphold with high standards.
