You Are an Athlete

Written By John Allen Mollenhauer "JAM"     post      http://www.performancelifestyle.com/blog/2007/09/24/you-are-an-athlete/trackback/

What? You say? I"m not an athlete! I’m a business owner, a service professional, a parent, a student…

Yes, and you are an athlete!

If you are facing demands on your time and energy, and achieving any goals, you are an athlete.

If you’re reading this and you’re keeping pace in todays day and age, you are an athlete and you might want to start thinking this way. That is, if you don’t want to join the rest of the population who is driving themselves into the ground and focusing on weight loss.

In the upcoming posts we’re going to focus on this as we get ready for the next trainining.

For starters, here’s a conversation on this very subject. A recent internview I did with Kevin Gianni of Live Awesome

Heres the interview…:

An add-on to my first reply posted at 1:52am (above)

    Personal Energy Management!!
This one lesson has been imprinted in my mind!! From the course I learned several methods to manage my energy so I could crawl out of that Downward Trend I was in!

This past week, this lesson was a ‘life-saver’! We discovered a water flood in my living room and my life could have been thrown into turmoil, but I immediately remembered some of the methods of Energy Management learned in your last course! Needless to say my home is in total disarray while all the clean-up and repairs are being done!
I began by closing my eyes and shutting out all the mess for about 2 minutes at a time -that felt good and helped. Then I progressed to taking a 10 minute break every hour and sat out on my balcony and soaked up the fresh air and relaxed.! There is a great crew of professionals helping with all the work and I am simply trying to co-ordinate them with my personal needs so my life can stay as calm as possible!! It works!!

This is just one example of the HUGE lesson of Personal Energy Management I learned from JAM’s last course!!

    Thank you JAM!!
