The one thing you must have by your computer when you work!

A progressive resistance cable or "band", I’ll explain…

So much of our conversations are about working out and how to exercise successfully to get fit and get the body that goes with it. This is important, but what we don’t focus on are the every day "spontaneous" strategies for building and maintaining fitness that also enable us to look and feel better!

These hour to hour strategies are just as important (and satisfying) to our fitness and well being as the focused training sessions we engage in at least 4 times per week.

I’m sure you’ve heard the "eat 5-6 small meals a day" eating recommendation. One of the reasons why this strategy is effective is because you don’t go long periods of time without eating and then eat like a banshee in large meals, later in the day.

But when you supplement your workouts with ultra short toning and strengthening sessions thought the day, you’ll "get" that you just discovered a great lifestyle strategy that works wonders!

"I used to have back pain during the day, no more!"

Developing and maintaining fitness is a lifestyle! - a priority in the way you live to ensure you are always maintaining and developing your fitness is one thing that separates those who get better results from those who are frustrated.

Today we are unnaturally sedentary because we’re knowledge workers and working in offices etc… we have to use our environment in ways that incrementally build our fitness… not one time per day but 10 times per day… in small incremental ways.

BTW, No need to get caught up in the # of times per day…

Ever climb the stairs from a NYC subway, two steps at a time? Just watch what happens!

Not only do you develop fitness, you feel more satisfied each and every hour of the day, knowing your getting better - doing the best you can with what you have.

There is always a way to get fit.

There is a tool that everyone needs to have next to their desk to ensure that fitness is not a lost priority. It’s a progressive resistance band or cable from MyTrainer and Lifeline USA.

These bands enable you to exercise you’re full body, anywhere any time, develop fitness, feel and get stronger while you work.

If you are in front of a computer as much as I am, you’ll welcome this in a BIG way.

Go to MyTrainer and get your resistance bands - they come with some exercise tips

R1, R2 and R3 cables for Ladies, (Teal and Purple and Pink)
R4, R5, R6 cables for Men. (Magenta, Orange, Red)

Here’s the link again - MyTrainer

They are inexpensive $14-$20 dollars.

Note - these are not for heavy resistance training, they are for keeping tone and strong during the day when you’re not engaged in a full workout… or dressed for it.
