Outsourcing your food?

Written By John Allen Mollenhauer "JAM"     post      http://www.performancelifestyle.com/blog/2004/11/09/outsourcing-your-food/trackback/

Food is one of the 3 core essentials of living. It’s in the same line up as breathing in terms of your health and frankly your existence. If you outsource your food to other people whose primary objective is the success of their business, not your health, you’re typically NOT going to get the quality of food you need for your body to operate successfully. It is any wonder why most of the food we eat is comprised of "dead" animal products and refined foods where all the nutrient value is stripped out, and pleasure stimulating chemicals abound? Where there’s a long "preserved" shelf life? It is any surprise that the foods we eat are ultra concentrated and super stimulating? Well believe it or not, it’s to get the attention of and ensure repeat customers - on an addiction basis? Sound like I’m being a bit dramatic? I’m not. The main reason nutrient-rich food, in the past, has not been as available (this is changing today because there is now a market for foods that take great and don’t compromise our health) is because the laws of economics and distribution hasn’t favored it. Serving nutrient rich foods creates challenges for business, at first, to make and distribute whole natural food that does not have a very long shelf life, require more care in the preparation and leaves you well after you eat it. Our economic society does not like that because depending on your interests, it’s bad for business. Now you understand why hospitals have McDonalds on premises. (My grandfather just had open triple bypass surgery at Kessler institute. The next morning they fed him sausage and pancakes with syrup!) The next morning! So be careful about outsourcing your food to others. In more and more cases you can do this today, since nutrient-rich food choices are now "on the market"; but mind you, nutrient rich foods, specifically prepared foods, packaged foods etc, beyond simply eating the food in it’s natural state, are still emerging. It’s easy as heck to fall for junk food packed in healthy ways! Outsource less of your food gathering, preparation and consumption time, and bring it back front and center in your life. It brings a lot of joy back to life and you live well. Not a bad lifestyle adjustment huh? We teach you how at PerformanceLifestyle.com, so that you can eat nutrient rich food, fast, quick and easy and gourmet, and promote your health and success in great ways.
